-For those of you that have never heard of the book "Wonder", this book has a main character named August Pullman (Auggie for short) was born with a birth defect called Treacher Collins Disease. For all of his life he was homeschooled, but before entering 5th grade he decided he wanted to go to public school. It was rough for him adjusting to a new school because kids can be cruel. They made another type of "coodies" called "the plague" and you get it by touching Auggie. Overall, this book was an emotional rollercoaster. I laughed, I cried and I was also angry a couple times because of things that were said. But it might not be for others simply because i'll cry to literally ANYTHING! The first time I saw the Extra®️ gum commercial I burst into tears because it was just absolutely beautiful! 😂😂
Anywhoooooo... Wonder puts you in other people's shoes. It makes you understand what it's like to be judged by the blink of an eye and for your character to be misinterpreted by your looks. And that's what made me cry. However, there are lots of tweens out there that aren't as emotional as I am so, just read it for yourself and make sure you comment or email me your experience. Love you and thanks for your support!!! 😘😘😘😘
